The 70' Purse seiner/Danish purser vessel KYSTFISK was delivered from Sletta Verft AS, Mjosundet to Kystfisk AS, Måløy in May. The fishing boat is built according to specifications from Atlantconsult AS and is priced at around NOK 25 million.

Steelmaterial for the building process is supplied by E. A. Smith Kristiansund AS, and the aluminium deliveries are from Astrup & Søn AS. The new vessel has acquired sufficient quotas for all-year fishing.

The main propulsion power is provided by a Deutz TBD616 V16 diesel engine rated at 814 kW (1107 hp) at 1,800 rpm. The engine drives a Finnøy G2YFKV reduction gearbox to turn a Finnøy P58.19.220.4 propeller.

The steering gear is of Tenfjord make, and the two Petters Marine Hydraulic side thrusters develop 200 hp (fore) and 150 hp (aft). This equipment improves the vessel's manoeuvring capabilities.

Electrical energy is provided by a Deutz diesel type BF6M 1015MC driving a Stamford generator producing 335 kVA.

The RSW plant of 275,000 kcal/h is from Aquaterm while the vacuum pump system is supplied by CFlow Fish Handling. Winches and capstan are deliveries from Brødrene Hovde and the cranes are from Triplex.

The vessel is outfitted with accommodation for eight persons. The alarm/monitoring system is from Elmarin AS while the installation of the wheelhouse electronics was done by Måløy Radioforretning.
