The
Norwegian Society for Sea Rescue – NSSR – took delivery of two rescue
crafts in May respectively June. UTVÆR and UNI were both built at Brødr.
Hukkelberg AS and delivered from Maritime Partner, Ålesund.
UTVÆR
will be operated by the loacal Sea Rescue corps in Solund and Gulen, while UNI
will be based in Trondheimsfjorden.
Both
vessels are powered by two Yanmar 6LYA-STP diesel engines each developing 340
bhp and supplied by Yanmar Norge AS. The engines are coupled to two Hamilton water
jets via ZF 280 gearboxes and give the crafts a maximum speed of 34 knots.
