Selfa Arctic Trondheim AS delivered the coastal fishing vessel TORSVÅG to PR Torsvåg c/o Audun Mathiassen, Karlsøy in August. This vessel can actually achieve a speed of 27 knots. In loaded condition, with about four tons of cargo, the top speed is 22.5 knots.

While based on the builder's standard 40 footer TORSVÅG is built 0.4m wider, meaning better stability and capacity.

The propulsion machinery is made up of a Nogva Scania DI 12 43M 12 l. diesel engine developing 575 bhp, which drives a ZF 325A reduction gear to turn the Helseth propeller. For better manoeuvring the vessel is fitted with a 15 bhp side propeller from Petters Marine Hydraulic.

The vessel naturally is equipped with Selfa Ballast system and Selfa Floorheating system. The electronic equipment incorporates Simrad AP-50 auto pilot, Simrad EQ44C echo sounder, Simrad RA 40C w/RB 715 A antenna, Sperry RT-2048 VHF and Olex chart system w/GPS and echo sounder.
