Brevik Construction AS delivered the AHTS vessel of Moss 501-80 design to Offshore Supply K/S, Lysaker in December. The new design has been developed by Moss Maritime jointly with Aker Brevik. The vessel's price is about NOK 100 million.

The vessel sails under Bahamas flag with class in DNV. The deck area measures 440 m2 with a deckload capacity of 580 tons. The four dry bulk tanks have a capacity of 180 m3.

The vessels main propulsion system is two CAT 3608 diesel engines of 2754 kW each at 900 rpm, coupled to two Scana Volda CP propllers via two reduction gearboxes of the same make. The vessel's bollard pull is 85 tons.

The vessel is equipped with one bow thruster and one stern thruster each of 515 kW. The auxiliary engine is a CAT generator set with a CAT 3406 TA diesel and a generator of 325 kVA. The shaft generator is of Stamford make.

The roll reduction tank is type Moss, and the bulk handling system is from National Oilwell, who also supplied anchorhandling winch, windlass and tugger winch. Bergen Hydraulic provided the Palfinger PK 4501 crane of 4,1 t/m. Chain and anchors are from Sotra Marine Produkter, and Karmøy Winch supplied towing pins and shark jaws.

The vessel is equipped with two Viking liferafts and a Norsafe Matrix 450 MOB-boat. BREMONA is arranged with four single cabins, six double and two 4-men cabins.
