Promek
AS, Dyrnes, Smøla delivered the yard's own design, Procat 1300R, to Straume
Fiskeoppdrett, Folkestad in July. STRAUMAR is a catamarn type built in aluminium.
The wheelhouse is located fore. The two bollards are placed fore and aft respectively.
A gate is arranged at the starboard rail.
The
window in the wheelhouse is type Colt 35, and STRAUMAR is equipped with a Palfinger
16,8 t/m crane from Bergen Hydraulic.
The
propulsion machinery is made up of two Nogva/Deere 6068 TFM 50 diesel engines
of 175 bhp at 2,400 rpm each and reduction gearboxes and propeller also of Nogva
make. In ballast condition the vessel's speed is about 12 knots.
The
steering gear is of Tenfjord make, and there are two positions for manoeuvring,
one in the wheelhouse and the other one on deck. Electric pumps are installed
in all the hull's compartments.
Sandblost
AS has provided navigation equipment such as Simrad CE33C chart plotter with GPS,
echo sounder and compass.
