Ydstebø
Marine AS, Kvitsøy delivered the yard's own construction, the shrimp trawler
SVORTING, to AS Svorting, Kvitsøy in March. The vessel is built according
to the sandwich method in GRP with divinycell from Diab Norge as basic material
for the construction. Glassfibre and polyester are provided by Euroresins AS.
The
coastal fishing vessel is powered by a Perkins 2006 diesel engine developing 384
bhp, coupled to the propeller via a Twin Disc 5091 gear. For easier manoeuvring
the vessel is equipped with a bow thruster from Vetus.
On
deck are the yard's own constructions of trawl winches and net drums, and the
vessel has a Meydam TMP 220L crane, while Åkrehamn Trålbøteri
has supplied trawl wire and nets. The trawl door is provided by Bison.
The
wheelhouse equipment includes a fishing program, WinFish Nexus, GX ProII PC with
15" LCD screen from Nav Tech AS and Raymarine R80 radar from Belamarin AS.
