DONNELLY
TIDE, a supply vessel of AH-03 design, was handed over from Søviknes Verft
AS to Zapata Gulf Marine International Ltd. c/o Tidewater Inc., New Orleans in
November. After delivery the vessel will start working offshore Angola.
The
vessels main propulsion machinery consists of two MaK 9M25 main engines of 2970
kW each. The engines are driving Kamewa Ulstein propeller via reduction gearbox
of the same make. Maximum speed is given as 15.1 knots, while the cruising speed
is about 13 knots. The bollard pull is 101 tons.
Auxiliary
power onboard is provided by a shaft generator of Stamford make and two Nogva
Scania diesels type DI1245 driving two Stamford generators.
Rolls-Royce
Marine has supplied the bulk handling tanks and Kværner the Fi-fi system.
The MOB-boat is a Norsafe delivery, and the davit is of Hydramarine make. Viking
has provided liferafts.
DONNELLY
TIDE is arranged with 24 cabins and a hospital. Haram Elektro AS has supplied
control consoles for both the bridge and the engine room and performed the electrical
installations.
The
electronic equipped delivered and installed by O. Øverland comprises Furuno
FR-2137 radar, FR-2117 radar, Furuno FE-700 echo sounder, Furuno DS-80 log, Anschütz
Std. 22 gyro compass, Anschütz Pilotstar D auto pilot, Furuno GP-90 GPS,
Furuno FA-100 AIS, Furuno FS-1570 MF/HF GMDSS radio,Tron 20 VHFs, Furuno FM-8500
VHFs, FM-2721 VHF, Tron 40S emergency beacon, SART radar transponders, Furuno
NX-500 navtex, Furuno Felcom 15 Satcom, Motorola UHFs and Comrod antennas.
