Risnes
Sønner AS, Sagvåg delivered another purpose-built vessel for Zueitina
Oil Company, Tripoli in Libya in November. SAJWA is intended used for operation
at the various oil terminals operated by her Owners. The boat of Vik-Sandvik design
is built of steel with the wheelhouse in aluminium.
The
vessel is powered by a MTU S60 diesel engine of 400 bhp at 1,800 rpm coupled to
a Helseth 3J 120-1500 HSD propeller via a Twin Disc MG516DC reduction gear with
reduction 6.00:1. The bollard pull is 6.3 tons and the speed about 10 knots.
The
fender lay-out is provided by Fenco Engineering and covers rubber fenders, block
fenders at the bow for use during pushing and D-profiles all around the hull.
Salter Bros. Buoyant has supplied the 14-men liferaft through Kræmer & Gjertsen.
Fibo products are used for the interior panelling, and electrical installations
were performed by Elecon.
