The UT 755 L supply vessel OLYMPIC PROVIDER was delivered to Master Supply KS in June. Brevik Engineering AS acted as consultant. Olympic Shipping AS is operator of the vessel, and at the time of delivery the company operated ten vessels, whereof eight were supply vessels.

The vessel's propulsion machinery consists of two Bergen Diesel KRMB-9 diesel engines of 2005 kW each, and each engine drives a Kamewa Ulstein propeller plant via reduction gears of the same make.

The Tenfjord steering gear operates a High-lift rudder, and the vessel is fitted with two bow thrusters and one stern thruster, all of Kamewa Ulstein make of 590 kW.

Electricity for auxiliary operations are provided by a Nogva Scania DI 1245M genset of 250 kW and a Stamford HCM734 H2 shaft generator of 1280 kW. The emergency generator is Nogva/Deere 4045TFM-50 of 48 kW.

The pumps from Ing. Per Gjerdrum AS have a capacity of 200 m3/h for discharging fresh water, fuel oil and ballast water. The pumps for liquid mud and brine have capacity of 75 m3/h each. The discharging systems are remotely operated by an Umas system.

The deck machinery are provided by Rauma Brattvaag, while the crane is of ABAS Crane make. The vessel has four roll reduction tanks type Rolls Royce. The lifesaving equipment incorporates 4x16 persons Viking liferafts and a Midget Mk2 rescue boat with Hydramarine davit.

OLYMPIC PROVIDER is arranged with accommodation for 12 crew and six passengers in 10 single cabins, two double ones and one for four persons.

The electronic bridge equipment is supplied by Basse Gundersen AS and comprises Skipper GDC 101 echo sounder, Simrad GC 80 gyro compass, Simrad AP9 Mk3 auto pilot, Simrad GN 33 navigator, two Sailor RT 4822 VHFs and one RT 2048 VHF, plus Sailor 1900 UAIS. The control consoles and the alarm system are from Umas.
